Nehemiah said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength." - Nehemiah 8:10

You are NOT alone...

You are NOT alone...

You feel trapped in a prison of misery, suffering in silence, but you are not alone.  Almost 1 in 5 women suffer from a postpartum mood disorder.  We are here to walk this path with you.

God's word tell us that "...The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." - Deuteronomy 31:8

This is NOT your fault...

This is NOT your fault...

"If only I had done this or that instead...if only I were stronger...
if I only I had enough faith...if only...if only...if only..."

PPD or PAD can happen to anyone.

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.
In this world you will have trouble. But take heart!
I have overcome the world." -John 16:33

You WILL be well...

You WILL be well...

It seems never-ending, but it is not.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel.  Through help and support from your doctor, other healthcare professionals, and loved ones, you will get through this and be yourself again.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future." - Jeremiah 29:11

Out of the Valley Ministries, Inc. is a non-denominational Christian ministry resource designed to lovingly support women and their families experiencing or who have experienced perinatal (pregnancy and postpartum) mood disorders, including those at risk for such disorders, through education, Bible study and fellowship.

There is hope for every woman who suffers from a postpartum mood disorder.  If you suspect you may be experiencing any of these disorders, it is important to seek the advice of a medical professional immediately.  The information presented here is not medical advice and is not to be taken as such.  Please understand that this ministry encourages women to seek medical and mental health treatment.  We will NOT tell women just to pray more or have more faith as that philosophy is detrimental to a woman trying to recover.
